The two important dates for Mundane Astrology outlook for India are the Hindu New Year and the Mesha Sankranti. Astrology charts for the two dates are presented below with an attempt at their analysis. Additionally, this year will see 4 eclipses, which is a norm for a calendar year. Both the solar eclipses are not visible in India and hence will not be considered affecting the residents here. One of the lunar eclipse will be visible properly and the other one will be visible just when the Earth’s penumbra touches the Moon and Moon sets immediately after. Hence, the astrological effects of the second lunar eclipse will be muted down.

Hindu New Year: March 20, 2015 @ 2.55 PM for a horoscope for the capital of our country – New Delhi. This is the day on which South India celebrates Yugadi and Maharashtra celebrates Gudi Padwa. The date for Gudi Padwa is March 21 as this the new year starts in the afternoon of 2th.
Mesha Sankranti: April 14th, 2015 @ 13.34 hours for a horoscope for the capital of our country – New Delhi. Mesha Sankranti is celebrated as Bihu in Assam and Baisakhi in Northern part of the country.
October uncertainty that made stock market like a ponzi scheme should be over and will not continue the trend in November. The important planetary transits of November 2014 are covered in the relevant section in the monthly horoscope and prediction post published earlier this month. Saturn moving to Scorpio is the major transit of this month. This will change the perspective on all moon signs. During November, planets change signs all over the month. Therefore, like last month, a clear differentiation between 1st half and 2nd half does not exist. Sun’s sign change out of debilitation is the only major transit in the middle. I am including the section for astrological remedies only for few rashis as I am not sure how useful it is for all the readers. Jupiter remains in Cancer and came out of combustion (udit) for the month. Rahu/Ketu remain in Virgo/Taurus respectively. Saturn remains in the sign of Libra through the month. Sadhe-sati is on for Virgo, Libra and Scorpio rashis, with Saturn being in 2nd, 1st and 12th house respectively in the janma rashi chart. Mars is in Libra at the beginning of the month. It moves to swakshetra Scorpio in Sept 1st week itself and that’s the transit results it would give. The quick transits of Moon, Venus, Mercury and specific auspicious/inauspicious dates on weekly basis will be detailed very quickly in a weekly predictions page. I am still working on it.

There are important long term transits going on now – Jupiter is in Cancer and is combust (powerless, lost in the rays of sun) till August 7th. Rahu/Ketu remain in Virgo/Taurus respectively. Saturn remains in the sign of Libra through the month. It came out of retrogression in the month of July. Sadhe-sati is on for Virgo, Libra and Scorpio rashis, with Saturn being in 2nd, 1st and 12th house respectively in the janma rashi chart. Mars remains in Libra through Sept 1st week. Sun moves to swakshatra sign of Leo in the middle of August. Mercury, who is never very far from Sun, moves from Cancer to Leo on 13th August. Venus starts the month being in Gemini. By the middle of the month, Venus moves to Cancer. It will remain there till the end of month, and then moves to Leo on September 1st.
In the middle of the month, specifically on August 18th, there will be a spectacular astronomical show where Venus and Jupiter will be conjunct. The longitudinal degrees would be exactly the same and the latitudinal degrees will also be very less. Their rims will be touching each other. This will be an anshu-mardan planetary war and will be described in a separate blog post.

These are my very preliminary and basic notes on how stock markets are predicted using Vedic Astrology. These are derived from the bible of Mundane Astrology that is Brihat Samhita. Brihat Samhita describes the matter/material associated with planets and then the movement of planets through various signs and nakshatras affects the demand and supply and price movement in commodities and stock market. There are not a lot of learning matter available for Vedic Astrology and I am in process of getting a book called Vyapar Ratna which is supposed to contain specifics on movement in commodities markets. Some information is also derived from Muhurta Chintamani that talks about when we can/should spend/invest/loan money. I apologize that there are no examples, charts or other details in this article as I am still learning. I will try to share information as and when I get it.

Transit effects of Jupiter in 2014 have already been published on the site. Effect of Rahu/Ketu transit will be published by the end of the week.
Mars on its approximately two month long transit will move from Virgo to Libra around middle of the month and it stays there till Sept 1st week.
