- Nakshatra: Purva Bhadrapad
- Planets Aspecting the Eclipse: Venus & Mercury are in the same house as the luminaries. Jupiter has 7th house aspect on this eclipse and Mars has 4th house aspect on the eclipse.
What does this Eclipse Signify?
Since this eclipse has the almost complete aspect of Jupiter on Sun and Moon, the malefic affects of this eclipse will largely be mitigated. The eclipse will still cause bearish tone in the market.

- Astrological Indicators
- Moon: Virgo Rashi, Uttara Phalguni nakshatra
- Sun: Pisces Rashi, Uttara Bhadrapada Nakshatra

- Rahu close by, but not in the same sign. So this eclipse will not have a lot of adverse effect.
- Although unrelated to eclipse, it is observed that Mars & Saturn are conjunct at this time.
What will this Lunar Eclipse Signify?
Since Rahu/Ketu axis is not in the same sign, the eclipse will not have a lot of malefic aspect. Still, this will worsen the malefic results caused by the close association of Saturn and Mars.

What does this solar eclipse signify?
This eclipse will have a lot of malefic aspects, since Saturn’s drishti is almost 100%. This will cause durbhiksha yoga on the areas where this eclipse is visible. See below for the overall effects.

What does this Eclipse Signify?
Both the Sept 1st and Sept 16th eclipses signify durbhiksha yoga. Additionally, as per Brihat Samhita, Mercury’s drishti signifies increase in elible oil prices throughout region where the eclipse is visible. It will also cause major problems to the government of the day. Durbhiksha yoga indicates famines, lack of water and other problems to the farmers. Mineral resources, which are input to manufacturing units, become scanty. These two eclipses will indeed cause much distress for common man and panic in the stock market.
